Training in martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, wrestling, & Muay Thai is my outlet for improving my mental health and becoming a better person.

On this eighth episode of the podcast, I interview my friend Ryan Culbertson-Faegre. Ryan is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who teaches and trains at Springfield Fight Club in Springfield, Missouri. 

On this episode, we discuss how intersection between martial arts and classic art. We discuss the Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi and share insights about training in combat sports to prepare for a self defense scenario. Ryan shares his thoughts on the benefits of martial arts training and how they help a person develop over the course of their life.
