Wim Deputter Interview - "Everything Is Connected. Everything Is The Same."

Training in martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Judo, wrestling, & Muay Thai is my outlet for improving my mental health and becoming a better person.

On this twentieth episode of the show, I talk to Wim Deputter. Wim is a 2nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Felipa Costa. Wim has been competing for more than 20 years in MMA, BJJ, and a variety of grappling sports. He is the head coach at Brasa Belgium in Leuven, Belgium.

On this episode, Wim shares about how training in the martial arts from a young age has impacted his life. He talks about the mental evolution he sees in his students as they progress from a beginner to an advanced student. We also talk about breath work and why Wim has begun to incorporate a breathing practice into his life.

Wim shares about why its important to focus on your breath at all points in life. He talks about how he has applied a lifetime of Jiu-Jitsu knowledge to his life off the mats. He shares from a wealth of martial arts experience and provides his counter-intuitive approach to training Jiu-Jitsu.

On this episode, you will learn about the importance of breath-work and why it is essential to focus on principles when you are learning martial arts or anything else in life.

This is an episode you do NOT want to miss.
